My name is Frank Sedita, I work for Homrich Wrecking Incorporated, and we are here at the Packard Plant in Detroit, Michigan. I'm a heavy equipment operator, I run the machines on site to process the material, pull out the rebar, pull down the building when needed.
My name is Jim King, I'm the heavy equipment operator. We do a lot of asbestos type work, obviously for what we do. Typical day, if we're doing just a standard demolition we get a machine fired up, we come in, make sure we got a lot of water spraying to try to contain the dust as much as possible. And we go in mechanically demolish the building.
I've been using the RPB Z-Link for about a week now. I got my very own as of Friday, so this is the first day using my very own. Like, it's actually mine now. I like it a lot, it's very comfortable. It fits almost like a motorcycle helmet, it's extremely comfortable.
A half face respirator for me is so difficult to wear that it's almost, after a period of 10-20 minutes it starts to get scary, because you can't catch your breath. On the weekends you know, I'm in a poker league and whenever people come into town, I'm a big fan of going to concerts, I love country music.
Uh you'll find me either on the back of my pontoon riding the water with a fishing pole, or you'll see me on the back of my motorcycle riding the back roads.
